A workspace that grows with you
Beginner keeps the everyday tools and a short guide close at hand. Advanced adds alignment, distribution, mirrored copies, patterns, model measurements, orthographic views, and wireframe display. Switch modes without changing your model.
Build a model
Add a shape, then set its dimensions in the properties panel. Select Sketch to draw a rectangle, circle, or polygon on the ground plane and extrude it to a height. Advanced mode also offers front and side sketch planes with an offset.
Shift + click selects multiple bodies. Union joins them, Subtract cuts the other selected bodies out of the first one, and Intersect keeps their shared volume.
Move around
Drag empty space to orbit. Right drag to pan. Scroll or pinch to zoom. Use the view buttons for Top, Front, Right, or 3D.

Add details and repetition
Text creates solid lettering. With one unlocked body selected, raised or engraved lettering is centered on its top-facing XY surface. Adjust or reposition standalone text like any other body. Rounded boxes and tubes have editable radius or wall controls in Properties.
Advanced alignment keeps the first selected body fixed. Distribution spaces body centers evenly. A pattern creates repeated copies, including the original in its total count. Mirroring adds a reflected copy; originals remain.
Import STL opens a local triangle mesh as a new body. STL does not record units: choose millimeters or inches in Advanced before importing. Files stay in your browser.
Keep what you make
Changes autosave in this browser on this device. Save project downloads an editable file you can open here later or move to another computer. Browser data can be cleared, so download important work.
Export STL downloads visible bodies as a triangle mesh using millimeters. Check the model and its scale in your slicer before printing. This is a mesh modeling studio; it does not include Shapr3D’s full CAD kernel or sketch constraints.
